Hotel Standards

Smoking Policy

This is a non-smoking hotel per NYC code.

There is a $250 fee for smoking in your room, removing a smoke detector, or covering a smoke detector. Failure to comply with this policy may also result in eviction from the property.

Please note it is against NYC Fire Code to tamper with a smoke detector.

Guest Room Standards

Candles, open flames, flower petals, and incense are strictly prohibited. Any damage or additional cleaning to the guest room is subject to fees.

Occupancy Code

Visitors and traveling companions are limited to the maximum occupancy of the guest room, as dictated by NYC Fire Code. For larger gatherings than our guest rooms allow, please contact our Catering Department for more information about our meeting spaces and restaurants.

Quiet Policy

It is our goal to ensure that we offer our Guests the best possible experience. To ensure the comfort of all Guests, keep these helpful tips in mind and keep noise to a minimum, especially in the evening hours.

You can help by:

  • Keeping your television and radio at a low volume

  • Ensuring that your guest room door does not slam

  • Refraining from loud talking in the hallways when coming or going to your room
